The Deanna M. Tinnin Memorial Scholarship: A commitment to honoring excellence in the classroom and community.

MISSION

Our mission is to empower more minority students to progress in Science, Technical, Engineer and Mathematics (STEM) fields while being strong ambassadors for advancement in their communities– continuing Deanna’s legacy.  Deanna Tinnin’s dream was to be a full time philanthropist and enrich the lives of today’s youth to reach their full potential. The fund will keep Deanna’s dream alive and continue the strive for excellence.

SCHOLARSHIP 

The Deanna M. Tinnin Memorial Scholarship will be awarded annually. The scholarship will be presented via a partnership with the American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE) - Houston Chapter. Please visit AABE's Houston Chapter website for more information on the scholarship application process.
